Just last friday I was scrambling franticly to find gear for my bachelor party. Now, when you think of a bachelor party you might be thinking something along the lines of a trip to your local burlesque style party establishment but I ensure you I would have none of that. For my bachelor party we were going on a three day kayaking trip down the missouri.
From my previous posts you might assume I have everything prepared and set aside ready to go. Those that know me on a personal level will understand when I tell you, not in the least. I had this tingle that I had forgotten something. I ran around the house looking for what I could possibly have neglected. I checked drawers I had not seen in months, I searched old backpacks and coats. Soon I gave up on the house.
I traveled down to the garage. I just knew what I was looking for was here. I checked the boxes marked shoes and the box marked outdoors. Then I saw out of the corner of my eye, the camping box. I tore off the lid and threw it across the cement. I dug for about five minutes when I saw it... There it was. the perfect looking flashlight. I had that ahah! moment where you think you figured something awesome out. I turned the flashlight around taking in the detail when I realized.... this particular flashlight doesn't have a logo on it.
I threw the flashlight back and spent my trip nights in the dark. you can NOT trust a flashlight without a brand.
